I decided to go on another bike ride today and decided to try something a bit unusual. There is a Roman road that runs through my town and goes right the length of central England stretching off into the north. I decided to bike ride along that road as far as I could while filming it! This meant riding with one hand on roads with traffic..heh..a bit dangerous but it's only a country lane so I managed it. I will upload the film shortly once I figured out how to "speed it up" as I thought that might look cool.
Along that Roman road which is called Icknield Street is a spot which is believed to be haunted, possibly by the ghost of a Victorian police constable that was murdered there. I filmed the spot and talk about what happened, you will be able to view that video shortly once it's uploaded. It's quite a spooky road that leads to Wythall which is a small Parsh village. I decided to carry on and visit Wythall and took a few photos. Absolutely stunning countryside and some fabulous farm houses.
I covered a fair distance my stepometer clocked up over 8km!
